Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A.
Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A. (KMM) is a U.S. corporation designing, developing, and manufacturing top-level brand in quality and performance for the world market. No matter which Kawasaki you choose, all of the products have one thing in common: quality. Quality isn’t something we take for granted. Every single day at our plants, we work hard to make sure our products deserve the name, Kawasaki.
KMM has three manufacturing facilities in the United States, two are located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Over the years our product line has included not only motorcycles but all-terrain vehicles, Jet Ski® watercraft, utility vehicles, industrial robots and ATV rims.
The Lincoln operation also features a state-of-the-art Rail Car facility which manufactures light passenger rail cars in a variety of models. New contracts continue to develop with cities throughout the country providing exciting opportunities for this growing branch of KMM. Using a wide variety of sophisticated fabrication techniques, this plant provides superior quality in its production.
Our Maryville Missouri plant produces small gasoline engines for lawn and garden equipment and ATV engines for Lincoln production units.
All are fast growing companies with Lincoln providing job opportunities for nearly 1,400 individuals and Maryville nearly 800.
KMM facilities utilize the Kawasaki Production System (KPS). KPS is a unique manufacturing philosophy of continuous improvement which combines the best of Japanese and American techniques. KPS uses efficient work flow and worker involvement to produce better quality products. Employees become more efficient using the mechanics of just-in-time, one-piece production and mixed-model production. Being able to produce all the units all the time helps meet customer demand.
KMM also hosts Research and Development Centers in both Lincoln and Maryville to meet customer demands as quickly as possible.
