Full-Time, M-F, 40 hr/wk, Performs all types of sleep disorder testing, including set-up and performance of nocturnal polysomnograms (PSGs) on ages 15 and older. Must demonstrate working knowledge of polysomnography, Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), oximetry and administration of supplemental O2, Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP and/or BiPAP®) studies, and the basics of Sleep Medicine. Scores studies per lab standards once competency is achieved. Able to take patient vital signs accurately. Recognizes cardiac arrhythmia. Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Respiratory Therapy or an accredited RN program. NBRC registration and NE licensure required as a Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist. Current BLS Certification. Experience in scoring sleep studies preferred.
